Chapter 8: Dreams

‘“Shea?” A woman asked in the darkness which suddenly turned into a Japanese courtyard on a lake, with a small koi pond and a small grassy field in the middle.

Shea opened his eyes and found himself lying in the center of the small field. He tilted his head back to see two feet. Quickly he stood up and turned around to face the person that was standing behind him. He gasped and stared in astonishment at who he was facing. “Y..Yuki?!”

Yuki stood there in a beautiful royal blue kimono that had white lilies and dragons printed on it. Half of her long black hair was in a bun with two chopsticks sticking out of it. Her ember eyes held the color of fire and dimly glowed. The crystal lotus necklace was around her neck.

She gave him a warm smile. “I was beginning to wonder when you were going to show.”

“Am I dead?” Shea asked, looking around.

Yuki giggled. “Why would you ask something like that?”

“Well because the last thing I remember is sinking in a lake and well you’re here and we’re alone together and its very peaceful here and I’m not making any sense here am I?” Shea answered.

Yuki giggled some more. “No you’re not dead. Thankfully not yet anyway, we’re both dreaming right now.”

“So this isn’t real, damn it!” Shea said in disappointment with a pouted expression on his face. “I was hoping that this dream would be real.”

“Wait so you dream of me a lot?” Yuki asked, blushing.

Shea blushed and looked at her in surprise. “Did I just say that out loud? Yeah it’s true.”

Yuki smiled. “Well in a way, it’s real. If this was a normal dream, I could do this…” Yuki pointed as she stepped forward, gently grabbed Shea’s hand, intertwined their fingers, and rested her head on his shoulder. “…but you wouldn’t be able to feel anything and so would I. Funny, if this was a normal dream I wouldn’t be able to feel how warm you are and I wouldn’t be able to hear your heartbeat.”

Shea blushed again as he could feel his own heart beat faster. “The same goes for me too. You’re very warm, Yuki.” He said wrapping his arms around her and smiling.

Yuki smiled. “Do you still think this is a normal dream?”

Shea shook his head. “I like this dream much better.”

Yuki closed her eyes and then pulled away from him with a smile on her face. “Lets walk together; I want to talk to you.”

Shea nodded his head and gently held her hand as she led him unto a covered walkway that appeared on the water before them, and then he stopped. “Yuki…what’s going on? I don’t get anything around me anymore. Please…could you explain what’s going on around here to me?”

Yuki turned to him. “I don’t really now how to explain everything because I’m just as confused about this as you are. The only thing that I can explain is why I disappeared: my heart now rests in you for safekeeping from the heartless.”

“So does that mean that you’re…” Shea gulped.

“Thankfully, no, nor am I in a coma at least not in the present moment anyway. Somehow we have a very strong connection that it came to the point that even when my heart is now inside you I can still move around and we can now talk to each other through dreams like this. Speaking of which, did you really mean what you said to that little girl about me?” Yuki asked, her face light pink.

“What are you talking about?” Shea asked.

“Well that I am a dear friend to you and that you hope that I like you. Did you really mean that?” Yuki asked again, smiling as her faces was still light pink.

Shea remembered the conversation he had with Nani and blushed again. “How did you know about that?”

Yuki touched the lotus necklace and smiled. “This is where my heart currently resides in; it’s my most precious possession all this time. In reality it’s with you so in a way I’m with you and I can be aware of the things that go around you. So that’s how I knew about that and I’m still wondering if you really meant what you said.”

“I did mean it, in fact I consider you more than that.” Shea answered sitting up on the walkway railing.

“Shea…have you seen the sky yet?” Yuki suddenly asked.

“Only the day time sky so far.” Shea answered, staring off into the distance.

“Is it like the projection on the dome back on earth?” Yuki asked, sounding hopeful and excited at the same time.

“Far from it! It’s like…oh man I don’t even think I could describe it to you how cool it is! I wish you could see it for yourself! Hey are you anywhere close to where I’m at? Maybe we could meet up and…” Shea suggested sounding hopeful.

“I can’t…” Yuki cut him off with a sad tone in her voice.

Shea leapt off the railing and looked disappointed at her. “Why not?”

“Because, even though I’m not in a coma, I’m in a lot of pain right now and I just feel cold all the time back in reality. It’s very hard to explain.”  Yuki answered, looking away.

Shea stared at her and without thinking wrapped his arms around her. “It’s alright, I understand. Maybe you should go back if you’re in that much pain.”

Yuki pulled away from him. “No! I don’t want to go back; I want to stay here with you!” She said, then yelped and covered her mouth as she realized what she had just said. Her cheeks again turned red.

Shea smiled and shook his head. “Okay, I won’t argue with you. I’m just surprised that you actually like me. But is there anything I can do to help you out?”

“There is, but right now I feel like our visit is just about over. Shea...I…see you later.”  Yuki said, kissing him on the cheek, turned around and ran.

Shea in surprise gingerly touched his cheek and dropped his hand. “Hey, wait! There’s something I have to ask…” He called to Yuki but stopped as she began to fade away and everything became white.’
---

Yuki woke up on a beach.

She looked around to see palm trees, an ocean, a waterfall, and a bent tree on its own little island that held bright yellow star shaped fruit.  The sky was very cloudy and grey.

“Where am I?” She said, slowly stood up.  A wind blew, causing her white dress to move with it.

“Who are you? How did you get here?” A girl asked.

Yuki turned around to see a girl her age with dark red hair, clear blue eyes, and  wearing a school uniform that consisted of a white sleeveless button up shirt, a blue stripped tie,  a blue plaid miniskirt, blue knee high socks, and black pull on shoes.

She then smiled at the girl. “Finally, it’s good to see a friendly face after seeing so many…um…Heartless. Do you know where I am? You see all I can remember is being with a very close friend of mine and then…well nothing after that. Oh, I’m sorry I didn’t introduce myself, I’m Yuki.”

The girl eased. “I’m Kairi, and it’s good you got away from the Heartless. The place where we’re at is Destiny Island.”

Yuki then relaxed but then fell to her knees as waves of sharp pain entered her and started to shiver uncontrollably.

Kairi started to worry. “Whats wrong?”

“I…gave…my heart…to Shea…really cold…” Yuki tried answering.

“Come on, let’s get to someplace safe.” Kairi said, helping her up to her feet and walked towards the waterfall.
---

Shea stirred and opened his eyes to see that he was bandaged up and in a hotel room. Quickly he shot up to a sitting position as he remembered what had happened the night before and the dream that he had. “Yuki…” He muttered to himself. ‘What did she mean with what she said to me? Why was she dressed like that and was so worried about me? I wish there was something I could do to help her… This is just messed up I mean the attack…Max’s disappearance and words…what does it all mean? I must have landed in some twisted fairytale wonderland for all of this to be happening. I just don’t get it at all…’ He thought as he unconsciously touched his cheek where Yuki had kissed him in the dream.

As he did, the memory of that moment came back to him and he smiled. “Its still there.”

A knock came at from the outside of his hotel door. “Hey, are you awake in there? Can I come in and check up on ya?” An unfamiliar voice asked.

“You’ve asked that same question to all the others. Do you really think that he’s in this one?” Another voice asked the first one. Both voices were male and sounded a bit older than Shea’s.

“Well I don’t know if he’s in this one because all the doors look the same!” The first voice replied.

Shea stared at the door. “Um…sure I’m awake. You can…wait… are you black with razor sharp claws, have a tendency to twitch a lot, and dressed up like a Nazi?”

There was a pause on the other side of the door. “Is that supposed to be a racists joke?”

“Does it sound like I’m joking?” Shea asked.

There was another pause. “I really can’t tell but I would have to say no, not really.”

“Okay. Are you a heartless or some monstrosity wearing a Nazi uniform and a gas mask?” Shea asked, still staring at the door.

Yet again, there was another pause from the door. Then the owner of the voice sighed. “Okay you’ve got ten seconds before I blow the door down.”

“Come in!” Shea yelled as he covered himself with the blanket, facing the door from underneath.

The door opened and a spiky red headed guy with green eyes wearing a black trenchcoat walked in followed by another guy who had aqua blue eyes, sandy blonde hair that was in an interesting hair style, he also wore a black trench coat.

As they walked into the room, they looked around for the boy that the blonde had rescued the night before.

The blond e scratched his head. “Funny…I’m certain that this was the room I had put him in…”

The red head sighed. “Demyx are you even sure that he’s not somewhere else, I mean all the other rooms looked the same… maybe you were watching trippy movies again…”

Demyx narrowed his eyes at the red head. “Yes, I’m very certain that this is the right room, Axel. Maybe he just jumped ship because told him that you were going to blow up the door.”

“Correction, I said that I was going to blow the door down not up. There is a difference between the two.” Axel corrected Demyx.

Then the two started to argue.

As they argued, Shea pondered over his present situation.

‘Well there are only two of them in here, though they seem to be complete idiots, it might be a ruse for me to let my guard down. Maybe I can fight my way out, after all I still have the element of surprise on my side…I hope. Then again I don’t have any weapons on me at the moment…Maybe I can scare them into leaving me alone with this bed sheet…wait no that’s a horrible plan…Aria was right, I cant think of a real mature plan to save my life. Come on, Shea, think! What would Luca do? He would scare them with the…oh yeah that could possibly work, yet somehow I think I might regret this. Oh well might as well give it a shot.’ Shea thought, grabbing the sheet with a sigh and ready to stand.

While Axel and Demyx continued to argue, the bed sheet slowly stood up and started to wave its hands, while making ghostly sounds, causing Axel and Demyx to stop arguing and stare at it in comic disbelief.

“Woo, I’m a ghost, woo.” The “ghost” which in reality was Shea facing the wrong direction wailed.

Axel and Demyx briefly stared at each other and then back at the “ghost” that was wailing at them. ‘What on earth?’

“I’m a spirit of a recently deceased person and so you must fear me and let me go so I can find peace.” The “ghost” wailed out as it started walking to what it thought was the exit.

‘This is too easy; I’ll be out of here in no time!’ Shea thought to himself as a big smile appeared on his face.

Then reality stopped him in a form of the wall he crashed into.

Shea took a couple of steps back and clutched his nose. “Ow, okay that wasn’t smart. Ow! I think I just broke my nose, oh blasted spam that hurt! Hey where’s the exit?”

Demyx pointed to the door even though the “ghost” couldn’t see just to be nice. “That way.” ‘Well I might as well give him points for doing this…’

“Okay thanks.” Shea said.

‘Lets see if this guy can think on his feet if we blow his cover…’ “Wait a minute; aren’t you supposed to be a ghost?” Axel asked sounding unimpressed yet amused by Shea’s super lame act.

“Oh right. Woo.” Shea said, resuming his wailing and waving his arms underneath the sheet.

“Come on, take it off, we know you’re not a real ghost.” Axel ordered now amused and trying hard not to laugh.

‘SHASTA! They figured it out!’ Shea thought. ‘Okay no need to panic, Shea, you can still get through this…’

He stood there on the bed, still facing the opposite reaction and now wore a blank expression on his face underneath the bed sheet. “Yes I am!”

“No you’re not.” Demyx said.

“Yes I am! I’m a real ghost and you should fear me, woo!” Shea responded, waving his arms again.

“Okay then…prove it.” Axel challenged.

“Alright I will!” Shea said. He then paused for a second. “How do I prove that?”

Axel and Demyx both facepalmed at Shea’s question.

“Well ghosts can float in midair.” Axel pointed out. “So let’s see you float.”

“Okay then. Stupid test, watch this!” Shea said stepping off the bed.

He fell face first into the carpet and groaned. “I’m alright, I’m alright!”

“Wow…nice job.” Demyx commented, stifling his laughter.

“Did I pass?” Shea asked.

“No…but that was an epic landing on the carpet.” Axel answered, with Demyx breaking into full laughter.

“Ha ha, that’s very funny.” Shea sarcastically remarked. “Well even though I’m not a ghost, I’m still something to be reckoned with ‘cause I know kung fu!” He said doing all kinds of kung fu poses underneath the bed sheet with karate yells to go with it.

Axel walked to Shea, pulled the bed sheet off of him, and tapped his shoulder.

Shea stopped and turned his head to look at him.

“Hey genius, we’re over here.” Axel said pointing to both himself and Demyx, who was waving to Shea with a friendly but cheesy grin on his face.

Shea spun around to face them. “Right, I knew that.” He nervously laughed while rubbing the back of his head. ‘Bang goes that plan.’
---

Yuki sat down in the middle of the cave and glanced around at all the various drawings that were on nearly every surface.”Who did all these drawings?”

Kairi looked around absent mindedly. “Oh this stuff? Well I and my two closest friends, Sora and Riku drew them when we were kids. You see we used to come to this island all the time and do all the things that kids did, playing, exploring, and all kinds of fun stuff without having to worry about rules. After Sora found me on the beach, he and Riku found this place while looking for a monster, which Sora denies whenever I ask him about it. Later on I found it as well, but since Sora was with me he blocked my way, though he quickly changed his mind saying that the reason why was because I was special. Over time we filled this place with pictures from our little adventures.” She said touching one of the pictures. “The last time any of us came in here was two years ago, when Sora and I were 15 and Riku was 16…”

“Wow…” Yuki said looking at the pictures again.

“Oh do you feel any better now?” Kairi asked, breaking her train of thought.

Yuki nodded. “I’m not in pain and not as cold anymore, but I feel a bit odd…”

“I noticed that, you seem very pale…” Kairi added. “Do you want some medicine?”

Yuki shook her head. “I don’t think it’ll help. These drawings are pretty cool.”

“Thanks. Do you want to see my favorite one?” Kairi asked, sounding eager.

Yuki nodded and stood up. “Sure.”

Kairi smiled. “Come on its this way.” She said going a bit further into the cave.

Yuki followed and they soon came to a wooden door with no handle at the end of the cave.

Kairi knelt down to the wall on the right side of the door while Yuki lightly touching the wooden door, not sure if it would snap open and suck her in. “So where’s this picture?” She asked looking at Kairi.

Kairi turned to her and smiled. “This is it.” She said pointing to a small and clearly visible picture.

The picture showed a young boy and girl staring at each other. The boy had spiky hair while the girl had short hair. Both were giving the other what looked like a star.

Yuki tilted her head as she studied the picture. “Why is this one your favorite?” She asked, looking at Kairi.

Kairi blushed. “Because it shows how much Sora and I care for each other.”

“Okay. So why are you two giving each other stars?” Yuki asked.

Kairi laughed. “Those aren’t stars…they’re Paopu Fruit.”

“So you’re giving each other fruit. What’s so special about that?” Yuki asked a bit skeptic.

“Paopu Fruit only grows here and as such there’s a myth to them that is in our folklore. The myth says that whenever two people give each other a Paopu Fruit, their destinies become intertwined for eternity, no matter what. It’s a way our people here share their feelings for each other without saying it. I’ve always joked with Sora and Riku about sharing some due to a very long running joke that came from our experiences traveling, though I know that they aren’t gay.” Kairi giggled for a bit. “The reason why this is my favorite is because three years ago, Sora drew himself giving me a Paopu Fruit, telling me how he felt. The next year, I drew in my part.”

Yuki touched the picture with a dreamy look. “It must be nice to know that the person you care for shares the same feelings for you.”

“It is. Why do you say that? Have someone special in mind?” Kairi asked.

Yuki nodded. “Yeah, you could say that. He’s been my best friend for nine years, always looking out for me, being my protector and brightening up my days when something bad happens. I just wish that we could be more than just best friends…”

“Sounds like the Hero type, chivalrous, caring, brave, and all that jazz. That’s the best kind of guy to fall in love with. I should know from experience.” Kairi explained. “I would bet that if they met, he and Sora would have a lot in common.”

Yuki continued to stare at the picture. “Shea…” She muttered to herself as her thoughts turned to him. ‘Please be safe.’

“Shea…that sounds right for a guy like him. “ Kairi said.

“Yeah, just out of curiousity, whats that door for?” Yuki asked looking at the door.

Kairi’s expression turned sad. “It’s the heart of this place and a bad memory for the three of us.”

“I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to bring it up.” Yuki said. “Forget I said anyth…”

Then they heard skittering and warped noisies coming towards the cave.

“Something must have followed you here which means you need to get out of here….and I think I know you’re way out.” Kairi said looking at the door.
---
Luca tripped and fell to the ground, this time completely exhausted from running away from the Heartless and their leaders, which were now closing the gap between them.
‘Shit. All I need is rest…’ Luca thought as he, after much struggleing, got on his hands and knees, still fighting to stay awake.
Then out of a neraby shadow, a green skinned woman clad in black and holding a staff appeared in front of Luca and strechted her hand out to him. “Here, let me help you, Luca.”
Luca looked up at her. “How…did you know my name?” Then with the last of his strenght gone, his eyes rolled back into his head and he passed out in front of the woman.
---

“So what am I doing here?” Shea asked, staring at his cup full of hot chocolate.

“There was an attack on Canyon Oasis, and so far you’re the only one that survived.” Axel said, taking a drink out of his cup of coca afterwards.

Shea, Demyx, and Axel had gone down stairs after breif introductions to meet up with two older guys, Luxord a british man who always had a playing card in his hand, and Xigbar a man who reminded Shea of a combination of a pirate, sufer, ninja, sniper who was having a good day.

“We searched the ruins and found absolutely nothing…whoever did this certainly knew how to cover his tracks.” Luxord  said, flipping the card over and over again.

Shea moved his cup in a circular motion and drank the rest of it, not knowing that he had received a chocolate mustache.

Demyx started laughing, which caused Shea to look at him. “What’s so funny?”

“Nice mustache.” Demyx said pointing to his own lip.

Shea looked down cross eyed to see that he had a chocolate mustache and quickly wiped it off. “Oops sorry about that.” He said, nervously grinning from embarrasement.

“10,000 people all vanished in a single night. No one can pull a trick like that off.” Xigbar mumbled to himself as he cleaned his weird guns. “The person responisble for this will pay.”

Shea wiped a tear from his eye. “Its all my fault, I shouldn’t have been there in the beginning…”

“Now young man, lets not get too caught up in the past, its not good for your health.” Luxord calmly said handing Shea a tissue.

Shea accepted it and blew into it. “Well at least Max got away…”

“Yeah that’s looking on the bright side, so how about smiling for once, emo boy.” Axel said, grabbing the corners of Shea’s mouth so that he was smiling.

“I’m not emo, and this is starting to hurt…” Shea said pulling away from Axel. “And anyways I already have bigger problems: appearently someone wants me dead, my friends are missing, and I have no idea where to go now.”

“Sounds like you’re in need of some help.” Demyx responded, handing Axel a churro, which Shea then stole.

“Hey this might be an odd thing to ask at the moment but uh….do you by chance know anything about Organization XIII?” Shea asked with the churro in his mouth.
      ---

Yuki looked unsure at Kairi as they faced the door. “How is this door going to help with my escape?”

“This is an escape route for Princesses of Heart and Dragons, which I can tell you are a Dragon. In times of need, this and the other hearts of worlds serve as portals to other places, this will provide you with temporary safety, at least until Shea finds you.” Kairi answered.

Yuki smiled. “Thank you for all the help.”

The door opened showing a tunnel of pure light.

“Its no big deal, I hope to see you again sometime soon.” Kairi said.

Yuki’s smile grew and she stepped into the tunnel, which then vanished.

After that Kairi ran out of the cave.
      ---

“So why do you want to know about Organization XIII?” Luxord asked.

“Because Max told me that maybe I join up with them, I could gain allies, which at this point I really need. It’s the only thing that I have to go on right now.” Shea answered.

“Alright then, can you excuse us for a few minutes?” Xigbar said as he grabbed Axel and Demyx and headed out of the room with Luxord, leaving Shea alone and a bit confused.

Out in the lobby the four guys huddled together.

"What are we going to tell him? 'We're from Organization XIII and the real reason why we're here is to question you about last night’s events and put you in custody.' Yeah that sounds really nice." Axel said sounding sarcastic.

"But thats what we came here to do, right?" Demyx asked.

"Yeah but this guy has had enough happen to him in the last 24 hours. We've already seen that he didnt plan the whole thing like we orginially thought. In fact he thought that Demyx and I were heartless when we went to get him." Axel answered.

"Wait so the heartless were involved with this, that adds another peice to the puzzle then. He must have something they want so he would need to be placed in protection." Luxord said.

"We don't have the proper authority to place him into Witness protection, that's the superior's job." Xibgar pointed out to Luxord.

Axel, Luxord, and Xigbar then started to argue about what they were going to do with this “problem”, Demyx stood there, quiet with his arms crossed, thinking.

Then an idea came to him. “How about we invite him to join Organization XIII and take him with us back to the superior? That way he gets a shot and he’ll be safe until we find an alternative.” He suggested.

The others stopped arguing and stared at him in surprise.

“What?” Demyx asked. “I’m not stupid, I can come up with ideas too.”

“That actually makes a lot of sense.” Axel says. “Lets go with that plan.”

“Good work, Demyx. “ Luxord said, messing up Demyx’s hair. “now lets go tell our little friend.”

Then they heard a karate yell and several objects crashing and they rushed into the room to see Shea standing in a kung fu position, watching Hong Kong Fooie and mimicking all the moves that was on the TV, which during the process he had knocked over several tables and chairs.

Axel started snickering at the whole thing and Xigbar smacked him, then cleared his throat to alert Shea that they were back.

Shea heard it, looked at them and freaked that there was an audience now. He fell on his butt, scrambled up and grabbed the remote, turned the TV off and starighted himself out. “I wasn’t watching TV.”

“Liar, liar, pants on fire, hanging from a telephone wire.” Demyx sang.

Shea blushed and turned away. “Oh shaddup, so what if I like watching old cartoons…they’re funny.”

“Do you still want to know about Organization XIII?” Xigbar asked, changing the subject.

Shea turned back. “Yeah.”

“Well as members of Organization XIII, we talked about you joining up and we have decided to take you with us due to the authority of accepting or rejecting new members lies with the superior and we don’t know if there will be another attempt at your life.” Xigbar calmly said.

“Yeah I know all about that. I listened to you guys argue about that from behind the door.” Shea said, surprising everyone with his sudden calm demeanor.

“Okay so let me call the superior then and we’ll be on our way. See ya in a few minutes.” Axel said leaving the room.

Demyx grabbed Shea’s arm. “Come on , Lux, Xigbar, and I will so you what we can do!” He yelled suddenly happy as he ran outside dragging Shea behind him.

Luxord and Xigbar calmly followed the two outside, which to Shea’s surprise was the mountain side with a amazing red wood forest right in front of the hotel.

“Where are we?” Shea asked as he looked at the town that was to his right as he leapt up on the wooden fence that surrounded the hotel front yard.

“Jet Ridge. It’s our territory when Luxord and I are assigned as a team, its about 278 miles away from Canyon Oasis.” Xigbar answered pointing his crystal sniper guns at a random tree, ready to shoot.

“278 MILES?!” Shea said in amazement, failing his arms for balance as he fell off the fence on his back.

Demyx, who had also sat up on the fence, looked over his shoulder at Shea. “Are you okay, Hexas?”

“Hexas?” Shea asked, staring up at Demyx from the ground. “Who’s Hexas?”

“You are.  The name just popped into my head and since you’ll be joining Organization XIII, that’s what you’ll be called.” Demyx answered. “Are you okay down there?”

“I’m fine except for a sore bum.” Shea said jumping back on the fence. “But how do you know I’m going to make it?”

“Oh just a gut feeling I had, that’s all.” Demyx answered.

“Hey can I start my demostraction now?” Luxord impatiently asked.

“Go for it!” Shea and Demyx yelled at the same time.

Luxord smirked and scanned the area until he selected a blue jay that was about to take off. He then snapped his fingers…

“Oh cool! You stopped the blue jay in mid air!” Shea said pointing at the blue jay in excitement.

Xigbar laughed. “of course! Luxord can control time which gives him an advantage in battles and card games.”

“So what can you do?” Shea asked.

“I can control space. Axel controls fire and Demyx here controls water.” Xigbar answered. “So do you have any noteworthy skills, Hexas?”

Shea nervously laughed. “Right…noteworthy skills…I have noteworthy skills…there’s um….oh I cant think of any at this point but uh…”

“That blue jays going to fall, guys.” Axel said coming out.

Shea and the others looked up to see that the blue jay was now falling.

Shea quickly, without thinking, used his free running skills to run up the side of a tree and then used gymasitics to get to the bird which he caught with a knit ski hat that he found in his blue jacket pocket, then again used free running to leap off the trees and land safely on the ground in front of the Organization members.

He then took the bird gently out of the hat and set it on the ground. “There you go little guy.” Then he put on the ski hat which completed his outfit.

The bird looked up at the boy wearing a white shirt, khaki cargo pants, boots, a blue jacket, and a ski hat that was his hero and then bowed. “Thank you for saving me when you did, I wish you the best of luck in your future.”

“Uh…thanks?”Shea said surprised to see a bird talking to him.

The bird then again bowed and took off.

“Awesome you just got a wish from a blue jay, that’s an incredible sign of good luck there.” Axel said.

“Hexas are you okay?” Demyx asked pokeing Shea.

“Did that bird just talk to me in an accent similar to Luxord’s?” Shea asked, his eye starting to twitch.

“No one told you yet, kiddo? Animals and plants have a tendency to talk here in Anima.” Xigbar said.

Shea’s eyes then rolled into the back of his head and he fainted, crashing into the ground.

“Oh dear, we have a fainter here, shall we get on our merry way?” Luxord said grabbing Shea’s arms.

Xigbar shrugged his shoulders, opened a portal and everyone entered with Luxord dragging Shea in with them, then the portal closed.

While in the shadows, a shadow heartless held a camcorder which had recorded the whole thing that had taken place. Then it turned the camcorder off, handed to what it thought was a Dusk Nobody, only to be killed by a samurai who then disappeared without a trace.
