Three kunai hit one of the three wooden poles that stood in the middle of the lake.

The gentle wind blew some fallen leaves over the cliff and onto the water's surface as it died. Then it picked up again and carried the leaves over the calm water as in circular motions as if the wind and leaves were involved in a dance.

Sitting on the edge of the cliff sat a blond haired teen who wore a orange and black outfit, a crimson sage's cloak, black sandal shoes, and a black ninja headband on his forehead that had the symbol of a leaf in the center.

His blue eyes seemed sad and distant as he looked at the entire area of The Final Valley, seeing ghosts of his younger self and his best friend fighting on that very same day 3 to 4 years ago, both fighting harder than ever before for different reasons. Then at the very end of the fight, he saw his friend's ghost standing over his defeated younger self, giving him the headband that he now held in his hands, and leave.

A tear fell down his whiskered cheek as the ghosts rippled and faded away while he gripped the scratched headband in his hand. "Sasuke...why?"

The wind picked up speed again and threw the leaves into another dance.

Meanwhile, on the other side of The Final Valley, a black haired boy, the same age as the blond, sat in a very well hidden position watching the ghosts of themselves fight and the dance the wind and leaves performed over the water. "Naruto..." He began looking at the sadden blond, his best friend. "...it looks like we're not done fighting..."
